For Christmas Day 2020, I ordered a roast goose "to go" for my guests. Everything was well prepared and finishing at home only took 30 minutes. The goose was tasty, juicy and crispy at the same time. Dumplings, red cabbage, chestnuts too, and the world class sauce. I will never fry myself again!

The food is tasty and the prices are fair. It's a shame that a DJ is almost forced upon you (emotionally) during the conversation. We didn't want a DJ from "Gold DJ" but our own. It's also a shame: there is only one music system in the dining room upstairs for the background music for the meal (automated playlist, which was also bad at times). So the guests sitting at the other end of the room won't get anything. If you make the system a little louder, it quickly becomes much too loud for the guests who sit at the back of the system - here we would have a more balanced sound system or hoped for a clever solution (or at least 2-3 boxes that distribute the sound evenly). And thirdly: the operator / owner turned out to be not very cooperative, stressed, bored and rather unfriendly in the preliminary discussions (no reply to emails came). Telephone was rarely or never available to anyone (AB). Still recommendable as the choice of food is plentiful
MoreI've been here several times. Either with spar ribs or prawns "All you can eat". It was great every time. There is no mass processing like a classic all you can eat, but there is a very pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the food is top and so is the staff / service. I hope that Corona will be survived reasonably "well" and that these great all you can eat offers will be offered again soon.
MoreWe can't say anything about the quality of the food / dishes - but about the type of communication / manners of the operator or chef. And these were catastrophic and not worthy of a service provider. A few weeks ago we were as "reinforcement" (witnesses) with a bride and groom for a chat on site and it should be about the last details, but especially about the buffet and drinks. The "boss" was brief from the start, seemed annoyed, disinterested and let us feel that every time we asked. In addition, he was not informed and showed no interest: poorly prepared, no longer knew that the bride and groom had been there in person for a wine tasting shortly before and had already chosen wines ("we haven't talked about wines yet, have we?") the wrong laptop with you, confused facts / information / appointments, and the appointment for the conversation with him had been agreed for a long time - unfortunately only possible to a limited extent on the day in question due to another wedding on site. In addition, there was no response to questions by email in the previous weeks. The worst, however: the gruff, rough and extremely unfriendly manner that you simply cannot bring to customers / guests

As a newcomer from Hochheim, we were looking for a location for our wedding. We became aware of the Hochheimer Terrasse website via the Internet. We were flashed. Great website, great location with many possibilities and only a few meters from our wedding ceremony (art collection). We were concerned because everything was fully booked, but we wanted to give it a try. We made an inquiry via the contact form and shortly afterwards the owner Bobby reported back and invited us for a tour. Once there we were greeted warmly and were able to take a very close look at everything. Bobby showed us the different rooms that the Hochheimer Terrasse has to offer. We finally decided on the "fireplace room" because it was perfect for our wedding party of almost 20 people. We were lucky that we wanted to hold our celebration during the week and that we were able to stay with it. Perfect for us. Then we discussed the options for the menu. Bobby excelled as a very creative master of the food composition. He responded completely to our wishes and made excellent suggestions for our (but quite demanding) meal requests (including vegetarians and vegans who would also eat). With him there is no 0815 food, but extraordinary creations that would later turn out to be a real treat for the palate. We were also able to choose the wines that were to be served at the celebration - and of course direct tasting included. Since we were not yet sure how good or bad the weather would be at the time of booking, Bobby offered us the ability to react quickly to the weather conditions. Then, for example, there would have been a mulled wine instead of a champagne reception. However, the weather played along on the day of the celebration and we left it with the sparkling wine. Bobby also had a room designer on hand who could have made suggestions when decorating. However, we then decided to decorate the premises ourselves for our purposes, as they were very unusual. The celebration was a great success, and there was praise from our guests for the great atmosphere! The food was excellent and everything was well prepared. Bobby himself also stopped by and congratulated us on the marriage. It was really a successful day, with great organization, care and fantastic food. Many thanks to Bobby and the whole team!

We googled on the topic of roast goose and this was one of the top results and rightly so! Everything tasted good, from dumplings to red cabbage. Served us next to a nice lady, Phliipp Stickel. And of course we asked Philip if we should call him. What can I say, he even explicitly asked for it. For a long time that was our tastiest goosecrow !!! Before we had the beef soup from the day ticket. Incidentally, that was also awesome. Both Philipp and the colleague were very attentive and what is important to us, very unobtrusive. Resume, food 1 A, service as it wishes ...... we will be back!

Not what it used to be - This place used to have the best brunch in the Wiesbaden/Mainz area. However they have cut out many of the more expensive offerings (but still charge the same high price). Now it’s not any better than breakfast at a hotel. Not worth the price. I hope management realizes their mistake and brings back the full brunch they used to offer. The atmosphere is very nice.

MoreTwo stars for the ambience and the nice service staff, otherwise, the visit to the first Christmas holiday brunch was very sobering and disappointing. For 29.50 euros per person I imagined something different qualitatively. The reception was very strange, we were at 11:20 clock in front of a locked door. After ringing came a lady who has made us and 15 other guests aware that only at 11:30 clock is open. So we stood at 2 degrees in the cold on the street, the ladies mostly in the dress and waited until we were asked to warm at 11:30 clock. The selection of entrees at the buffet amounted to a large cheese and smoked fish platter, a ham in a row for self cutting and sausage selection, eggs in chafing and bacon. Like raw vegetables of tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and potato salad. So far was this okay, as well as the lye pastry and waffles to bake yourself. If you just want to come over for breakfast is OK. The main courses I was very disappointed, once in terms of quality as well as the presentation. The leg of beef was sliced in a white sauce that had unfortunately clotted and the meat very bite. the dumplings piled on top of each other without water in use so that after a short while it was a mass, at the broccoli similar picture. The pasta in tomato sauce with Ruccola were ok. Would have been nice if the plates would have been warm in the warm car. So you had almost no chance when you sit at the other end of the restaurant to enjoy the food warm. At the end, it can be said that there is room for improvement in the quality of the kitchen. Maybe the team had only one bad day or it was because it was so busy and a bit overburdened. a compliment to the service lady who took care of us, very attentive and nice.
